The Guinness World Records 2022 is the 66th edition of the Guinness World Records book. Published annually, the book contains a collection of world records, both human and natural. The book is divided into sections, including natural world, human body, human achievement, and world's biggest.
Some of the highlights of the Guinness World Records 2022 include:
- The world's oldest person is Kane Tanaka, a Japanese woman who is 119 years old.
- The world's tallest man is Sultan Kösen, a Turkish man who is 8 feet 2.82 inches tall.
- The world's heaviest woman is Eman Ahmed Abd El Aty, an Egyptian woman who weighed 1,100 pounds (500 kg) at the time of her death in 2017.
- The world's longest fingernails belong to Ayanna Williams, an American woman who has fingernails that are 24.05 inches (61.07 cm) long.
- The world's fastest car is the ThrustSSC, a British car that achieved a speed of 763.035 miles per hour (1,227.986 km/h) in 1997.
The Guinness World Records 2022 also includes a number of new records, including:
- The world's largest collection of Transformers toys, which belongs to Michael Cargill of the United States. Cargill has over 10,000 Transformers toys in his collection.
- The world's largest game of Jenga, which was played in Moscow, Russia, in 2021. The game used 50,000 Jenga blocks and was over 20 feet (6 m) tall.
- The world's longest human dominoes chain, which was formed by 2,950 people in China in 2021. The chain stretched for over 1.2 miles (2 km).
