About the Author:
Michael Wiegers is the editor of Copper Canyon Press and the author of five books of poetry, including "The City of Open Wounds," "Song of the Loon," and "Beneath the Distant Music." He has received numerous awards for his work, including the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Whiting Award, and the Pushcart Prize. He lives in Port Townsend, Washington.
