In the year 2045, the world has been ravaged by climate change and economic collapse. The only escape is the OASIS, a virtual reality world where people can live, work, and play. Wade Watts, the hero of Ready Player One, is now an adult and the richest man in the world. He has dedicated his life to finding the Easter egg hidden in the OASIS by its creator, James Halliday. The winner of the contest will inherit Halliday's fortune and control of the OASIS. When Wade finally finds the Easter egg, he is transported to a new world called the Six Dungeons of Doom. The Six Dungeons are a series of virtual reality challenges that Wade must overcome in order to claim his prize. Along the way, he will face off against new enemies, including the Sixers, a group of hackers who want to take over the OASIS. Wade must use all of his skills and knowledge to survive the Six Dungeons and claim the prize. The fate of the OASIS and the world hangs in the balance.

About the Author

Ernest Cline is an American author, screenwriter, and game designer. He is best known for his debut novel Ready Player One, which was published in 2011 and adapted into a major motion picture in 2018. Ready Player One was a critical and commercial success, and it won numerous awards, including the Hugo Award for Best Novel and the Nebula Award for Best Novel. Cline's second novel, Armada, was published in 2015.
